The Sue Wedel Memorial Walk Run Wheel (WRW) 5K is Laramie Interfaith’s annual spring kickoff event. It brings our community together to celebrate the season of renewal and honor the legacy of Sue Wedel — a beloved community advocate and former board member who dedicated her life to helping others.Whether you’re walking, running, or wheeling your way through the course, this event is about unity, compassion, and providing support to those in need.
This event is named in memory of Sue Wedel — a passionate advocate, community member, and longtime supporter of Laramie Interfaith.Sue served on our board for many years and participated in numerous 5K events before her passing in 2015. She embodied the values of compassion, equity, and neighborly support — the same values that WRW celebrates every spring.By participating, you're not only supporting a meaningful cause — you're also helping to carry on Sue’s legacy of helping those in need and lifting up our Laramie community.

The race begins and ends at Laramie Interfaith (712 E. Canby St.), with a route that passes through La Bonte Park and up 9th Street.
This is Laramie! The race happens in most weather conditions. However, hazardous weather (like snow or ice) may result in postponement. We’ll keep you updated via email and social media.
